After a divorce and you start dating, when is the appropriate time to introduce your children to your dating partner?

If you decide that you are going to develop an ongoing dating relationship with someone, it is appropriate that you introduce this person to your kids.

Before you get to this point, however, I think that it is wise for you to have a discussion (age appropriate) with your kids about your desire to start dating, what dating will look like in your home, and how dating may effect changes in your home. Divorce is difficult on kids and it would be a good idea to listen to - and then work through - their feelings about your desire to date.
