Honoree

Bob Shank is the Founder and CEO of The Master’s Program, a strategic life coaching program with a unique mission: To prepare Christian leaders to change their world and build God’s Kingdom through their irresistible lifestyles and influential works of service. He currently mentors hundreds of top-tier leaders, coast-to-coast, through this unique experience, called by one marketplace graduate “an Executive MBA in Kingdom leadership.”

Some of HomeWord’s most dedicated friends, as well as Board Members, have gone through the Master’s Program and consider Bob a professional inspiration as well as a dear friend. His teachings have shaped the growth, breadth, and success of HomeWord ministry to parents and families.

He also serves as the Program Director for Franklin Graham’s Festivals. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Samaritan’s Purse, as well as two churches and five other ministry organizations.

His background is unusual: he spent his early career in entrepreneurial business development in Southern California, where he built and sold two successful companies in the building industry. In 1984 in his early 30's he had a “Halftime” experience; he left business to found Priority Living, Inc., the ministry he still leads, for which The Master’s Program is the dba. Under Priority Living’s umbrella, numerous entrepreneurial ministries find a non-profit “incubator” for start-up and growth. Graduates of The Master’s Program are transferring expertise from business to ministry as they assist ministries in their early stages of development.

From 1991 to 1995, Bob served as the Senior Pastor of South Coast Community Church, a non-denominational mega church in Southern California. In 1990, he authored Total Life Management, published by Multnomah Press.

He and his wife Cheri have been married for 37 years and have two married daughters and five grandchildren. They maintain homes in Southern California and the Colorado Rockies.
