Question:
I have 6 children but just recently my 4 child who is 4 years old asked me if God and Jesus were the same person. I find this a very in depth question for a 4 year old and I am not really sure on how to answer it. Can you help with a good answer and maybe some scripture? ThanksAnswer:
Great question! For a 4 year old, this is tough. I usually will point to a couple of examples for kids. One is to pick up an apple...show your daughter that the apple has different parts (the skin, core, juice, etc.) but all are the same apple. Another one...take water...freeze it (ice), boil it (steam)...yet is the same water. Explain to her that although we don't completely understand it, God has shown us Himself in different ways. Just like you are a mommy, friend, a wife, etc....depending on your relationships, you are still one person. I hope that helps! Watch out...your daughter might become a theologian!
